I tested it on my personal working NES and it works perfectly. This console was a spare unit at the Westport Tech & Nostalgia Museum, and it is being sold to fund the acquisition of new exhibits. It's noticeable, especially when you look at the front of the console with the door, but it isn't dark yellow.
