(NOT WORKING) PlayStation 3 CECHG01 (40gig) YLOD
Console is in near flawless condition but has yellow light of death (YLOD). Console accepts power but will shut down immediately when powering on. I do not have the equipment to diagnose the hardware malfunction. I removed the void warranty sticker to disassemble the case and the inside is brand new. No rust or dust. I do not know if there is a disc in it or not. My loss is your gain if you have the means to run diagnostics on the motherboard. Statistics show that roughly 50% of YLOD occurrences are caused by faulty capacitors.
